Ah....relaxation

My sister lives in a town about 40 minutes from me, so we don't see each other as often as we would like as it's just not the same as being able to hop in the car and head around the corner for a quick visit. That being said, it isn't all that far either... just "feels" like a distance.

I went for a visit last Wednesday and ended up staying until late Friday evening. We sat out by her pool, had morning coffee in her gorgeous enclosed front yard, ate lunch outdoors at a nearby shopping center, read magazines, bitched and moaned to each other and just plain had a regular "girls" time together! I loved it!

My time away allowed me to focus more clearly on the happenings in my life and where I want to go from here... I found wonderful ideas for my own home and backyard and cleared my head. And seeing how other families interact gives me strength and courage to challenge myself to do and be more as a parent, wife, sister and friend. I felt emotionally and spritually renewed upon my return home. Thanks, Sis!!! xoxoxo
