So it has come to this....

Seems my best efforts just weren't the best, as I haven't been back to this site since January 2010 and it's Superbowl Sunday (2/5/12) today!  Life just manages to get in the way of  my leisure time anymore!

Lots has happened, yet not sure if much is interesting enough to share.  One thing I CAN say is that I have thoroughly enjoyed my husband, my adult children and all my fabulous grandchildren!  We even added grandchild number 9 in August of 2010!  Little Remington Lane! She is a little spitfire of fun!

She is quite the fashionista, into shoes and clothes more than her toys! Yet she is very active and athletic and makes sure her almost 7 year old brother is kept on his toes at all times!

Hubby and I finally had a chance to go on THE vacation of our marriage and we are still riding high from the fabulous time we had in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico in October 2011.

 I faced my fears and went Scuba diving for the 1st time in my life and will soon be going for my SCUBA certification!

Started back to work part time at my old company and really am enjoying the challenge of finding new ways to do things more accurately and expeditiously! Nice to make my own $$$ too! Now if I could only find a way to do it all AND keep my house clean and dinners cooked....

Now on the home front, we are battling to refinance/modify our home loan and it's coming down to the wire.  We are waiting for the final answer on the loan mod within the next week and a half or the house goes up for auction.  Now don't think we are devastated, we are NOT, just wistful. Love my house, but not the upped payments due to bank/loan company and property tax errors that threw $1000 more a month to our payments 6 months after I was laid off from my job in 2009.  Life throws stones, but I just pick 'em up and build a lovely rock garden with them!  And I also have to admit that if it's time to move on, that is always an exciting prospect! (Except the actual packing and moving part! lol)

This is me, in the green, at Walt  Disney World's Animal Kingdom Park with my son and his family 2 weeks ago!  It was our 3rd trip together and we had such a good time!  Already planning another trip there next January with my eldest daughter and her children.  We LOVE all things Disney!

So my faithful friends and family, I am back in Blogland and let's see where the breeze brings us next!
