Where do we go from here?

I ought to be painting, but decided to play a bit of hooky just because. Well, actually because I HATE to paint walls! No, it's really that I HATE the prep of painting. So very boring, but without it I manage to make a really nice mess. And since this room has hardwood floors, I can't take a chance of ruining them. So it's all tape and plastic and more tape and plastic. Yuck!

Still trying to decide what color if any, I will use in the Great Room/Dining/Kitchen area. I love colorful furniture and pillows and rugs, and I'm also VERY changeable. So choosing ONE color is just not something that comes easily. If these rooms were not all in one, then I think it would be much easier as I could blend the colors I like. Excuses, excuses.... but this is the biggest headache I have had since even before the house was finished! I think I will end up with shades of white and soft creams and then let the furniture and accessories do the rest!

Do any of you have things that are supposed to be so simple, but for you, it's a MAJOR deal? How do you work with or around that? Do you lose sleep over it?! I do! LOL!
