My Favorite Things...

This is a signed and numbered print by Susan Rios which she dedicated to my Mother. I love it! It looks like my niece Jennifer when she was a toddler!
Here's my favorite photo of my husband walking at a fire with our 1st grandchild, Savannah Glory.
"Imagine your life fullfilled. Dream the impossible. Believe the best is yet to come."  One of my favorite sayings!
Ahhh...sewing scissors and needlepoint case, the saucer from my Father's favorite coffee/tea cup and a tiny photo of my late parents .  So dear to me!
I love this reproduction light fixture in my parlor!
This is a Corning Ware dish that I have had for over 35 years!  We now call it the "taco pan" and it is used soley for frying taco and tostada shells! It gets scrubbed and scraped and scrubbed some more about every 6 months.  Looks like it's time again!
A darling hand painted board my mother bought on a day at the beach next to my "weather gauge thingymabog" and a pretty white granite rock my granddaughter Tristan found.
This used to be the saying my Mother said was HER... well, now it's ME!!!!
This sweet sign has been hanging in my kitchens for the last 4 homes!  It will stay until it can no longer hang or be read!
Shells in an apothocary jar that were collected on a summer day down at Laguna Beach, CA.
A print that was left behind for us at a house we lived in for 2 years.  I love daisies and tea and robin's eggs and books... it's "me".
Bright yellow sunflowers against a white and blue background.  Doesn't get much more lovely and simple than this!
And finally... this laser cut piece is my very favorite of all my memorabilia from my Mother.  I treasure it deeply as it represents everything my Mother was and loved.  Children, water, simpler times and a gentle pastime.  It holds my heart!
So those are many of my favorite personal mementos  It should go without saying that my family is of course my MOST favorite thing... but you already knew that!
Happy Labor Day to you all!
Always,
Jackie Lee
