Happy Wednesday to you!
Today has found me starting a project that I have been needing to do for months and months yet dreading. I talk about it all the time and it is my stumbling block in getting this house of mine to look like a HOME! So,
are you ready???~!!! I HAVE BEGUN PRIMING THE GREAT ROOM SO IT CAN BE PAINTED!

If you know me at all, you KNOW how much I despise painting, so this is a BIG DEAL! I painted this room on my own to begin with, so having to now primer it and RE-paint is like pulling teeth. BUT I also know that if I want to get my chosen color up on those walls I need to get this done. (Are you beginning to understand that I am writing this here in order to convince myself that it MUST be done?!!)
The problem with this part of the project is that the primer itself dries super fast IN THE TRAY, so I have to keep going and going and going... yet it doesn't go very far on the walls. Yeah, go figure! So I am already tired and my rolling arm is sore and I am not quite halfway done. Plus it appears I will be making another trip to the home center to buy another gallon of this lovely stuff as one gallon most likely won't be enough for the two walls! I am on the losing end in all of this it would seem!
I had to take pictures in order to force myself to have yet another record of what I am doing and of course to have for a before photo when the room is finally painted the RIGHT color at last!! Does anyone here share my pain???
Always,
Jackie Lee

I can IMAGINE your pain, but I AVOID the actual pain, by NOT painting anything ANY other color or adding any wallpaper.
I live with the color that was in the house..in the geginning.
SUMMERTIME BEIGE....but I like it actually, then all my things show up on the wall nicely and add the color I need.
But you will get done soon enough and it will make you SO HAPPY you re-did it.
TELL ME THIS THO...why did you keep on painting the FIRST color, if you did not like it ?? LOL,
Rose
Jackie...you are one determined lady if you finish this job...frankly..I would HIRE it done, if you hate the job so much...LOL.
