Super Bowl Sunday 2014! (Seattle Seahawks vs Denver Broncos)
This must be the only day of the year I actually blog! Sorry I skipped last year, lol! Figured my simply crazy life wasn't all that blog worthy, so just left it behind. I often think about starting up again and tell myself I will, but then life and laziness get in the way. Story of my life.
We've added our 10th and last grandchild to our family. Sweet Kannin Cruz Crawford joined the mayhem on January 21st, 2013. He's funny as can be and constantly on the go! My daughter and her husband say that if he had been their first, he would gave stayed an only child for fear of getting more like him. LOL! We, of course, adore him and his antics. His bright blue eyes and endearing smile melts our hearts and we forgive him anything. So blessed to have him!
We've been blessed enough to go back to our favorite vacation spot in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico with our eldest granddaughter in October of 2012. It was the vacation from "hello"!!! One of these days I may bore you with the string of misfortunes. Though we DID end up with so e terrific and funny memories too. Like tiny flying insects only my granddaughter attracted and proving that YES, it IS possible to lose your lunch (literally) at 32 feet deep in the ocean! I know this for a fact! 😱
I've gone back to loving to sew and work with fabric and yarn again. Having my sweet little 3 year old granddaughter Remington Lane to wear my creations makes life sparkle!! She is a true fashionista and each time she comes for a visit she tells me to go into my seeing room and "sew me a pretty dress, Mimi!" Gotta love that kid! Sadly, I do NOT have a sewing room to speak of as I keep changing my mind as to which room I wanted to use. I finally decided after trying out 2 other rooms so now I have all sorts of rearranging and painting and decorating and trudging up and down stairs to get it even functional, but it IS going to happen! And if I can figure out how to get the photos I want where they need to be to get them into this blogs new format, you will live it with me! (I will apologize ahead of time...)
We had a very nice Christmas and Santa had fun with all the Grandkids. This is grandson Cade helping me show off my gift of their family portrait. Can't wait to put it in its frame and hang it in my gallery of love!
Lots more very unexciting things to lull you to sleep, but I won't be cruel today. Going to go back and watch the 2nd half of the game now... Looks like the Broncos didn't show up to play so far. Sorry Peyton, sort of hoped you'd get to retire this year with your ring.
